What BlinkTest does

Founders submit public startup URLs. We visit the submitted website, capture screenshots of its public landing page, and display them to players as part of a game.

What we collect from players

We do not require accounts. We set an anonymous session cookie (a random identifier) to run the game and prevent abuse. We process basic anti-fraud identifiers: IP addresses are hashed with a secret and a rotating time component before storage — raw IP addresses are never stored. User-agent strings are hashed the same way.

What we collect from founders

The submitted URL, startup name, optional X handle and optional founder email. The email is never displayed publicly and is used only to contact you about your submission.

Analytics

We may collect anonymous product analytics (page views, game events, UTM campaign parameters). Analytics never include founder emails, raw IP addresses or secrets.

Payments

When payments are enabled they are processed by Stripe. We never see or store card details; we store only the payment status and Stripe reference identifiers.

Removal

Site owners can request removal of their startup and screenshots at any time via the takedown page.
